Integrating Somatic practices & Herbal Medicine
Angela is a Somatic Trauma Treatment Specialist, a certified Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) Facilitator, and a trained Community Herbalist.
Through years of experience working with a wide range of clients in both clinical and non-clinical settings, Angela has come to realize that a holistic approach toward physical, emotional, and spiritual health is crucial, and that it is through combining her career passions that she can best support folks along their healing path. She’s thrilled to offer a range of herbal creations and integrative services to support you in surviving and thriving through the ups and downs of life.
Angela believes that everyone is the expert of their own experience. She hopes to empower her clients by both holding space and offering concrete tools. Angela has always felt like her best self when immersed in nature, while sipping a warm cup of something herby, or whilst eating a really good donut. You can find her hiking or canoeing, playing with her two children, binge watching cringe-worthy netflix episodes, or cozied up under a blanket somewhere with a book.

More about Angela’s Herbal Experience: Angela began an official in-depth dive into Herbalism during the Herban Roots Apprenticeship program in 2017, studying under the skilled and experienced Community Herbalist & Educator, Jessica Belden. She continued her herbal education through self-led study of herbalists such as David Winston, Mary Siisip Geniusz, Matthew Wood, and Rosemary Gladstar. In 2019 Angela began studying Elemental Herbalism online through the School of Evolutionary Herbalism. She also served as Jessie Belden’s Teaching Assistant for the 2019 Herban Roots Apprenticeship program and spent many beautiful hours working at The Medicine Tree Herbal Pharmacy.
